The hype for WWE 2K24 keeps getting hotter and hotter. From featuring Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley on the cover to making a showcase mode for the late Bray Wyatt, WWE is pulling out all the stops. While fans know the roster will be packed with superstars, the WWE just announced another one.

Taking to social media, the WWE announced Mick Foley’s gimmick of Dude Love will be part of the roster. However, the way they released this news is noteworthy. Earlier today, Tony Khan of AEW wrote a poem praising AEW and hyping the AEW Revolution event. Pulling a page out of Khan’s poem, WWE 2K24 posted, “Roses are red, Violets are blue, We have a new screen just for you! With (Dude) Love, #WWE2K24.”

This was a direct dig at Khan’s poem. WWE 2K24 is set to see the return of the Guest Referee match and 40 years of WrestleMania. This ensures players can recreate some of the Dude’s iconic matches.
