Tonight on RAW, Cody Rhodes opened the show with a promo. But he was interrupted by The Rock. The WWE icon came into the ring to whisper that he was going to make him bleed tonight. At the end of the night, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins attacked Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa when they were trying to distract Jey Uso during his match against Shinsuke Nakamura. However, Rhodes had no idea what was going to happen to him next.

While everyone expected a brawl, no one saw a massacre coming! The Rock thrashed the American Nightmare, finally making him bleed as he promised. And now, this seems like the last straw for the Rhodes family. Will we see a family member join the fight?

After saving Jey Uso, ‘The American Nightmare’ hit Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa backstage until The Rock suddenly appeared from behind to attack him. He beat him up in the venue and then in the parking lot until Rhodes bled. And then the Brahma Bull provoked his mother by saying, “Look at your boy, Mama Rhodes.”

Taking to Twitter, Dustin Rhodes FKA Goldust shared his anger toward his brother being attacked so viciously. He simply tweeted, “You son of a b*tch,” venting out his anger.

The Bloodline’s war with Cody Rhodes continues and is now more alive than ever with this surprise attack by The Rock. And fans believe that this backstage attack will surely be a build-up to a surprise entrance: An unexpected return of the legendary Dustin Rhodes at WrestleMania.

Fans want Dustin Rhodes to join the fight in WWE

Dustin Rhodes has been really vocal about his support toward his brother’s ‘finishing his story’. But with this attack, it seems like he will have to help Cody Rhodes do the job. At least that’s what the fans want. They replied to his aforementioned tweet and speculated that he might be coming to Mania. One fan believes that it is the perfect time for a WWE return.

Another fan suggested an interesting family vs. bloodline feud. They wrote, “Join Cody and make it a #family/#bloodline wrestling match at #WrestleMania. #WWERaw.

Another X user wrote, “If you show up at Mania it’s going to be the biggest pop since Edge entered the Royal Rumble a few years ago. It will be electric.” And this fan might not be wrong. He joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in late 1990 and many remember how he and his father lost to Ted DiBiase and Virgil in a tag team bout in 1991.

Further, a social media user reminded people how this was easily possible, considering Rhodes’ contract expiration. His contract will expire in the fall.

One fan thought the return should also include The Rock’s nemesis, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Well, it looks like the WWE should try to book a return since the fans surely are all hooked to see it come to fruition.
