WWE Legend Jake Roberts Ill Again After Recent Health Scare

Recently, multiple wrestlers from the pro-wrestling industry have tested positive for COVID-19, and WWE legend, and current AEW superstar Jake Roberts, aka Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, is one of them.

The former WWE champion didn’t appear on TV for months now, and when the fans started to wonder about his absence, he took to Twitter and broke the news.

Jake spoke out on social media and admitted that he has contracted the virus. However, he also mentioned that AEW President Tony Khan is trying his best to keep everyone in the company safe.

Jake Roberts confesses how he got the virus

The WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter and posted two tweets regarding his current health. In his first tweet, ‘The Snake’ admitted that he had contracted the virus, even though he thought he was “bulletproof”.

“I’ve waited so long. Actually thought I was bulletproof. Yes I’ve gotten Covid-19!!!!!”

However, in the other tweet, he admitted that AEW President Tony Khan kept him off TV because due to the risk of him being exposed to the virus because of his age. The WWE legend also admitted that he might have got it from his family or when he was out shopping.

“Yes after not going to do my AEW work for nearly 3 months. Tony Kahn knows I’m high risk and has gone above and beyond all expectations trying to keep everyone safe. Pretty sure I got it from family or when I was out shopping.”

The WWE Hall Of Famer has been dealing with health issues for years and he uses an oxygen device because he suffers from COPD lung disease.

This new health development for the former WWE champ is concerning as his already compromised lungs might suffer even more. However, given his history, Jake has beaten countless complicating problems in his life, and we know he will bounce back much stronger.

Recently, Jake started a podcast with his friend and former WCW champion Diamond Dallas Page, aka DDP. The history between Jake and DDP is one that will be etched in the wrestling history books.

DDP saved Jake’s life after he battled him to fight his addictions and cured him with his special yoga routine.
