The bodybuilding industry received very sad news today. A young and bright star by the name of Jo Lindner, better known to his fans as Joesthetics, died due to an aneurysm. He was 30 years old. Lindner and his girlfriend, Nicha, were known for their Instagram posts about fitness. Four days before his untimely and tragic death, he had expressed in an Instagram post that he would love to host Dwayne Johnson on his YouTube channel.

While the young bodybuilder star was popular among bodybuilders, being an influencer, he needed to break through into the mainstream. With a little boost from Johnson, the fitness icon would have done just that.

In his second-last post on Instagram, the bodybuilder addressed a comparison between one of his photos and one of Dwayne Johnson. Joesthetics shared the photos side-by-side in the post. On the left was Dwayne Johnson holding a dog, and on the right was the YouTuber with his dog. The caption said “Low key not same same. Who did that ? And why these comparisons lol“. The fitness icon also left a request for ‘The Rock’ in the comments section of the post.

When a fan asked the bodybuilder about whether he will collaborate with ‘The Rock’ in the future, Lindner commented, “We need to get him bro pls.”

A collaboration with Johnson would’ve definitely boosted the young star’s career. In the past, many YouTubers, including wrestler/YouTuber Logan Paul, have taken Johnson’s help to reach a greater audience.

What the potential collab between The Rock and Joesthetics would have looked like

Knowing Johnson, he would have loved to hop on a YouTube video. With Joesthetics’ prior knowledge in the world of bodybuilding and enhancement drugs, it would have been the perfect place for Johnson to address the accusations about TRT and steroids.

Furthermore, the content on their social media accounts is quite similar. Johnson’s workout videos are a popular motivation for countless people. Just working out together in the ‘Iron Paradise’, Johnson’s personal gym, would’ve been a great opportunity for Lindner to get his message across to a new audience.

While it is unfortunate that Lindner passed away so unexpectedly, the mark that he’s left behind will remain. We give our condolences to Joesthetics’ family and friends.
