A few years ago, in 2017, Bobby Lashley appeared for an interview with Daily Star. There he called Donald Trump’s WWE appearance during “Battle of the Billionaires” the greatest.

The Almighty said, “It was pretty cool. At the time when we were going through it, I was like ‘okay so we’re doing what? WrestleMania?’ Everything was big but you didn’t realize how big it really was. You do these things throughout your life that you don’t realize how big they were until after it’s done.”

Lashley added, “At the time, I was on the road four days a week, so I’m so primed into wrestling that I was just like ‘alright, I’m just wrestling another match’. I think they dropped $250,000 (£200,000) onto the crowd when he [Trump] walked out, his money song came on, Miss Universe and Miss America were down there.”

How much money did Donald Trump make from the Battle of Billionaires feud?

The Battle of Billionaires feud had a stipulation of Hair vs Hair between Donald Trump and Vince McMahon. Moreover, Trump and McMahon picked their representatives for the match; Bobby Lashley and Umaga. However, the former US President earned a lot of money from this feud.

As per Bleacher Report, Trump earned a whopping $4 million dollars in all the appearances leading up to this feud to WrestleMania. All the money which Trump earned went to charity in the “Donald J. Trump Foundation”.

The match became much bigger when The Texas Rattlesnake became the special guest referee. The Almighty won the match after pinning Umaga and, as per the stipulation, Austin, Trump, and Lashley shaved the hair of Mr. McMahon.
