“I’m Not a Big Boxing Fan”: 34-Year-Old WWE Star’s Comments on Tyson Fury Raises Eyebrows

Tyson Fury, a few days back, won his final boxing bout and retired as an undefeated champion in boxing. He defeated Dillian Whyte in his last title defense by TKO. Around 90,000 boxing fans witnessed his last match at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Tyson Fury as soon as the match was over, he tweeted WWE about the crowd present in the stadium for his fight. He asked them to bring one WrestleMania to the United Kingdom. He said, “@WWE if last night isn’t a case for why Wrestlemania shouldn’t come to the UK then I don’t know what is 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 The Gypsy King is always ready 👑🥊”

Gunther would like to face Tyson Fury at WWE Clash at the Castle

Recently, WWE superstar Gunther appeared in an interview with Cultaholic Wrestling where he discussed the possibility of Tyson Fury at the WWE UK Premium Event. He also talked about will he have a match against The Gypsy Soul at Cardiff.

Gunther said, “To be honest, it seems like from what you see, he’s been around WWE. And from what you hear, it seems to be like a very cool guy and a pretty laid-back person. He’s one of the best of all time in his sport. I’m not a big boxing fan, but Ludwig is into boxing, he boxed himself in his youth.”

He added, “Actually, we watched the fight in the locker room the other day, massive crowd, really crazy. It’s great because he’s so unorthodox I think, he doesn’t look like the best athlete in the world, but in his sport, he is. If I will get the chance to wrestle him in WWE, I will definitely be very open to that.”

The match would be an amazing mix of the unorthodox style of Tyson Fury and the classic wrestling style of Gunther. However, The General claimed that there is a disadvantage for him against Fury for connecting his chops as The Gypsy Soul would defend it quickly.

Drew McIntyre has a message for The Gypsy Soul

WWE is on their European tour for this month and has been doing shows around the UK, Paris, and Germany. WWE superstar Drew McIntyre reached a bit early in the UK and had an interview with Wales Online.

McIntyre had a message for Tyson Fury in his interview. Wales Online shared the video of the interview on their official Twitter account saying, “.@DMcIntyreWWE has a message for @Tyson_Fury 👀💪”

The Scottish Psychopath stated he would like to face Roman Reigns for the world titles and become a champion again. However, the recent boxing events have led him to focus on Tyson Fury. He called out Fury, saying to call him or pick the phone and make the match official.
