Mentioning legendary sports personalities in your speech is an enormous responsibility. If you’re unable to handle the mention properly, clashing views can arise. Something similar happened with KSI recently. When the boxer was sitting in a press conference to promote his upcoming match against a tough opponent, he tried to intimidate him the best way he could. As an attempt, KSI mentioned John Cena.

However, the YouTuber’s attempt failed him as netizens started cringing at his trash talk. Things picked up pace when one of the Tate brothers, Tristan Tate, commented and roasted KSI. Tristan made sure to keep the reference friendly to pro wrestling fans.

The infamous Andrew Tate‘s brother would usually be considered the last person to come to a pro wrestler’s aid to save him from a disastrous trash talk dialogue. Much to the internet’s surprise, there was Tristan, roasting KSI back for taking Cena’s name in a dialogue that the internet considered ‘cringe’. All of this happened at the promotional press conference of KSI vs. Tommy Fury.

During the conference, KSI trash-talked his opponent by posing himself as the superior fighter. He announced on the mic, “I’m the one that can see John Cena. I’m the one that knows Victoria’s Secret. And I’m the one that knows what the dog is doing. When I go into a gym, treadmills do pushups.” While saying so, Olatunji was trying to reference legends like Muhammad Ali and Ric Flair, as we knew them for such contrastingly hilarious dialogues. Moreover, he also referenced John Cena’s popular “You can’t see me” catchphrase. But all he could do for himself was attract backfires from netizens.

Tristan Tate commented under a post including KSI’s video, “When you order Ric Flair from [Wish.com]“. Here, the internet celebrity was referring to the infamous website ‘Wish’ that is known for its discontented customer base.

It was the first time that Tristan got involved in a matter with KSI’s upcoming fight. However, it wasn’t the first time that the English boxer had tried to intimidate his upcoming rival. In fact, hours before their press conference, he left a threatening message for him online.
