The Undertaker had a 30-year run in WWE. The WWE Hall of Famer’s legacy will forever be remembered by future WWE superstars and the WWE Universe. However, the same can be said even for the current WWE superstars who continue to shower praise on ‘The Deadman’. One such name was the two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair.

‘The Nature Boy’, who appeared on Hotboxin‘ with Mike Tyson, shared many wrestling stories. He shed a light on Charlotte Flair’s success, discussed the UFC, and also talked about The Undertaker’s induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Flair said, “Well, he’s special to me. I’ve known him for a long time and I don’t think of anybody that has any more recognition than him or anybody that’s meant more to the WWE than Taker. I mean, he’s right there with Steve Austin in terms of where I think of WWE. I look at it now in the landscape it changes yearly, but if you go from Hogan, you take Taker, you take Steve Austin and Rock.”

Ric Flair talks about Vince McMahon inducting Austin and The Undertaker

While praising The Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Nature Boy also talked about Vince McMahon inducting them both. He particularly remembered McMahon inducting Austin and sharing all the revenue The Rattlesnake generated during the Attitude Era.

Flair said, “So few people have retained that level. And for him, they’re retiring and the fact that Vince is inducting them, you know the induction is was pretty cool. But they have Vince to do it. The only person I remember Vince inducting was Stone Cold, which was the first time you realized when the guy that when the boss who got all the numbers to memorize and how much merchandise what the PPV buy rates were and all that.”

He added, “And when those guys start talking about Austin. I was throwing sh*t, I’m not working for another company. I didn’t realize what Steve had done, but the same would apply to Taker. It’s unbelievable.”

The Deadman and The Nature Boy have been close friends for a long time. Flair has always praised the Phenom whenever asked about his opinion on The Undertaker. The 16-time world champion has even gone on the say once that The Undertaker helped him to get his passion for wrestling back in WWE before their match at WrestleMania X8.

Vince McMahon, generally, refrains from inducting superstars to the WWE Hall of Fame. However, Mr. McMahon broke that rule for his biggest draws who never left.
