Former WWE superstar John Morrison has been in the news lately. And it’s surprisingly not for his wrestling but boxing skills. The former ECW world champion took on Harley Morenstein at the Creator Clash 2 on Saturday night. However, it could have been a former WWE performer who could have been Morrison’s opponent.

He made quick work of his opponent, dominating and finishing the match in the third round via a knockout. But if the organizers had their way, the former MNM member had his way, he would have gone against Matt Cardona in the boxing ring.

He said, Let me tell you something about Matt Cardona. So, they asked me if I’d be willing to fight Harley {Morenstein} or Matt Cardona, and I asked him if he wanted to fight and he goes, ‘Bro, I’m not gonna fight anyone.

“I’m definitely not gonna fight you. Bro, no. Are you crazy? No, I’m not gonna fight.’ But, literally, he was like my first phone call. They wanted me to fight broski.”
