Internet sensation Logan Paul has proved to be an athletic personality. The star has made his way to both pro wrestling and boxing. He is a prolific boxer and a famed WWE star as well. Paul has been with the promotion for quite some time. He even formed a tag team with The Miz. However, fans remember his final sighting at the promotion at SummerSlam 2023. The thing that stayed with everyone was the fact that instead of celebrating his bountiful win against Ricochet, the star immediately left the scene after winning.

It was because of The Bloodline 

The reason why he left early had something to do with his ‘Bloodline’. The star’s younger brother Jake Paul was set to fight against UFC legend Nate Diaz on the same night. SummerSlam 2023 was hosted in Detroit, Michigan. The fight between Paul and Diaz was dubbed Ready 4 War and was hosted at the American Airlines Centre in Dallas, Texas. The brothers were almost over a thousand miles away from each other. As said in his podcast, Logan Paul wanted to be there to support his brother. And he had just the plan for it.

After securing the win against Ricochet, the star decided not to waste any time and left the premises as soon as possible. Later on, he shared a clip in which he explained the reason for his sudden departure. He was seen with his entourage in a car heading to board a private way to Dallas. The Maverick was able to make it on time for his brother’s match. All his efforts proved fruitful when Jake Paul won the cruiserweight match against Nate Diaz.

Logan Paul’s victory against Ricochet marked his third victory since joining WWE and was his first victory for the year 2023. However, not many people know how Damian Priest was indirectly involved in this grudge match.

Logan couldn’t secure the bag

Logan Paul and Richochet’s grudge began at Money in the Bank which happened a month prior to SummerSlam. As both Paul and Ricochet were climbing the ladder to grab tha briefcase, the stars fell from the ladder. But what could have resulted in a safe landing was made unsafe by The One and Only. As both the stars fell on the rope, Ricochet decided to capitalize on the incident and did a Spanish Fly. Due to this, both the stars jumped off the rope and crashed through the tables outside the ring. 

They were rendered and were unplayable for the rest of the match. Damian Priest on the other hand went on to grab the briefcase winning the title and becoming Senor Briefcase. This led to a backstage brawl between the two and Ricochet challenged Internet Sensation to a match that would style the score. At the SummerSlam, both the stars displayed an exceptional performance but Paul won the match when someone from his entourage passed him a brass knuckle, thus securing his win.
