YouTube sensation Logan Paul has become a wrestling sensation, too, following his first-ever bout at WrestleMania 38. No matter if fellow WWE veterans love or hate his consistent rise to the sports entertainment business, they can’t deny that the Cleveland-born wrestler earned his stay in the upper echelons of WWE pretty quickly.

However, wrestling is not the first combat sport Paul tried his hands at. Rather he dabbled in the world of UFC with a couple of exhibition bouts. Now, given that the blockbuster WWE-UFC merger recently came into force, it might benefit Paul in furthering his career with the sport.

It’s partly true that Paul’s star power earned him several back-to-back opportunities’ from the WWE higher-ups. But at the same time, it was The Ultimate Influencer who made those opportunities work for him without fail. The Maverick, however, went on a hiatus after his victory over Ricochet in a jaw-dropping match at SummerSlam 2023. While there’s still no official word on his potential WWE return, there’s a huge chance WWE offer him a massive push. It could mean as big as a Championship belt as well.

Conventional wisdom says that the 28-year-old kept aside his WWE endeavors for now. But his recent confession revealed that WWE is still his main priority and he looks to grab the top prize.

During his recent interview, Paul clearly wanted a rematch with the Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. On top of it, he also has his sight set on the Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship. He in fact has a total hit list of the wrestlers he wants to lock horns with following a return.

He didn’t talk about all these out of the blue nevertheless. During signing a multi-year deal with the Stamford-based company earlier this year, Triple H seemingly considered elevating him to the status of a title holder down the road.

Paul revealed if it wasn’t the case, he wouldn’t have considered resigning at all.

Also, with the recent TKO takeover, it becomes pretty clear that WWE is quite serious about Logan Paul as they marked him safe from the mass firing.
