The same happens with ‘fight fans’ from pro-wrestling to boxing, the fans love to see their old heroes lace up their boots again and get inside the ring or the octagon. ‘The Original Bro’ Matt Riddle recently appeared on ‘After The Bell‘ podcast where he talked about the old-timers making their way back and “stealing” the spotlight.

Matt Riddle is not too impressed by Evander Holyfield

During the podcast, Riddle made a valid point of the old-timers coming for an exhibition fight and steal the spotlight from an upcoming fighter.

“It kind of stinks for the up-and-coming fighters because now it’s just so much going on but the focus isn’t on the up-and-coming stars. It’s more like more trash-talking, celebrities, older fighters.

“But at the same time, I love it. If people can go out and make money fighting and do this and do that and they can sell more tickets. We can get more eyes on combat sports. I’m entertained.” Riddle said.

Riddle is currently enjoying his current reign as the WWE Raw Tag Team champion alongside Randy Orton. However, he is afraid to let go of Randy Orton because of the WWE Drafts.
