To make it big at WWE, every pro-wrestler needs an opening, a window of opportunity. For the current WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, Bianca Belair, it was veteran WWE Superstar, Mark Henry.

During her conversation with Booker T, she revealed how Mark Henry helped her acquire that window of opportunity.

“Mark Henry saw a video of me working out and grabbing the microphone and talking to the audience. He DM’d me on Instagram and I thought it was fake at first. He told me ‘hey you ever thought of being a WWE wrestler? I think you have everything it takes. I can get you to the tryouts but that’s all I can do. I can’t get them to like you, I can’t get them to hire you, just go be yourself.’”

Bianca Belair revealed that she started on April 11th, 2016 after Henry got her to the tryouts. However, she never had thought about becoming a WWE Superstar, but now that she has been a part of the company for a while, there’s nothing else she would rather do.

Bianca Belair had a stellar journey at WWE

Bianca Belair started at WWE NXT, but was called up to WWE SmackDown prior to Royal Rumble 2021. She participated in the thirty women’s match at Royal Rumble 2021, and won. This victory fetched her the opportunity to challenge any champion of her choice at WrestleMania 37. She challenged former champion Sasha Banks.

At WrestleMania 37, she showed immense strength, skills, and confidence during her match against Sasha Banks. After a while of back and forth, Belair pinned Banks for the SmackDown’s Women’s Championship title. Banks has been absent from WWE since.

Following this, Bayley wanted to have her shot for the title. Hence, at WrestleMania Backlash, Belair had to take on Bayley. Even though Bayley heavily advertised that she would win, Belair defeated her and kept the title.

Bianca Belair is confident that she will be one of the top women on the roster for a long time. In fact, her dream is to pin all Four Horsewomen of WWE, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Charlotte Flair, and Becky Lynch. She has pinned and defeated the former three, and has sent a stern warning to Becky Lynch as well.

As of now, ‘The EST of WWE’ does not have a new opponent booked against her.
