WWE Crown Jewel Results: Big E Scores a Massive Win Over Drew McIntyre

The feud between WWE Champion Big E and former champion Drew McIntyre has been one of the highlights of the red brand. Both superstars were favorites going into the match, but only one emerged victoriously.
The match was widely well received by everyone present in the arena. Drew McIntyre and his big sword made their way to the squared circle. The two locked up after a stare-down in which Big E had some choice words for McIntyre. When McIntyre landed his initial shoulder tackle, Big E didn’t budge. McIntyre nailed another one, this time knocking Big E out. McIntyre grabbed the upper hand with a belly to belly suplex on Big E on the outside.
The champion began to fight back with a trio of belly-to-belly suplexes. In return, McIntyre executed his own suplexes. Big E added a two-count with a fourth belly-to-belly followed by a running splash.

The Scottish Warrior hit a Michinoku Driver for another near-fall. The bout went back and forth until McIntyre hit a future surprise DDT, but the champ kicked out. McIntyre attempted a claymore, but Big E countered with a powerbomb and a submission. McIntyre managed to get away, but Huge E was able to pull off the big finish. McIntyre, on the other hand, kicked out.

Big E retains his WWE Championship at Crown Jewel
The champ tried for a big ending, but McIntyre retaliated with a bulldog off the top. The claymore was then used by McIntyre, but Big E threw him out. The audience exploded in a shout of “holy sh*t” and “one more chant.”
