The feud between Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss has finally reached its boiling point at WWE Extreme Rules. With both current and former RAW Women’s Champion in the same ring, things were bound to get heated up.

The highly anticipated match lived up to its hype, with both women giving their all for the title and the glory. The 12-time women’s champion dominated the fight early on.

However, Alexa Bliss used her speed and agility to maneuver and counter most of Flair’s assaults. In a nutshell, Bliss was the more technical wrestler, whereas, Flair was the more physical one. But this does not mean ‘The Queen‘ did not show her flair in the offense.

During the initial phase of the match, Charlotte seemed to be in total control. This quickly changed when Alexa found her footing as the match progressed. The momentum shifted back and forth, but the crowd mostly cheered in favor of the ‘Five Feet of Fury‘.

The match saw some incredible spots and improvised counters. In one spot, Flair got on the top rope to hit her trademark “Moonsault”, only for Bliss to roll over at the last possible second. But Charlotte isn’t renowned as The Queen for no reason. She instinctively landed on her feet and quickly hit Bliss with a standing moonsault. The move was executed with utter perfection and even got the crowd to cheer for her.

But Flair isn’t the only one with quick feet. In another spot, Flair went to finish the match with ‘Natural Selection’ but Bliss rolled away and clocked her with a wicked right hand.

Charlotte Flair wasn’t done with Alexa Bliss at WWE Extreme Rules

Both superstars tried to pull a fast one over one another with quick rollups. Seeing as normal offense wasn’t good enough to put Bliss away, Flair grabbed Lily to play mind games. To her credit, the move worked like a charm. She threw Lily at Bliss and followed up with a big boot right to her face.

The game was over for Alexa Bliss when Charlotte hit her with a nasty Natural Selection for the win. Or so we thought. After the match was over, Flair began to add insult to injury as she ripped apart Lily with zero remorse on her face. This enraged Bliss and somehow gave her the overdrive to get up and attack The Queen.
