Both Uso siblings put on incredible displays at Fastlane 2023. Jey Uso teamed up with Cody Rhodes to win the tag team titles in the night’s first match. Later, his brother Jimmy and Solo Sikoa took on John Cena and LA Knight. Despite the rivalry between the two, during the post-Fastlane press conference, Jey got emotional and broke character while talking about his brother.

Jey was proud to see Jimmy wrestle John Cena

Since Jimmy betrayed Jey’s trust for The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, there’s been tension between the brothers. Jey Uso’s arrival to RAW has put a dent into their rivalry, with the brothers hesitant to address their beef with each other. The siblings aim to assert their threshold on different brands as they look to usher in the next chapter in their storied careers. Nevertheless, the animosity, or at least kayfabe animosity, still remains.

Jey said, “As much as I would smack Jimmy in the face, seeing him wrestling John Cena, brings joy to my heart.” Both siblings have propelled themselves as top stars in their respective brands. Despite his brother losing the match to John Cena and LA Knight, Jey is proud of his brother proving his prowess in the big leagues.

Jimmy and Jey’s humble beginnings coincide with all-time highest momentum in the present

It comes as no surprise that despite the rivalry, the two are emotional about where they are at the moment. Both siblings come from the Samoan line of WWE wrestlers. It is the legacy family of the WWE. Right now, Main Event Jey Uso is the hottest star on RAW. Meanwhile, in Roman Reigns’ absence, Jimmy is keeping The Bloodline story progressing.

A few years ago, the duo were mid-carders with no proper long-term feud. The Usos had always made an impact in the hearts of the fans who loved their high-flying abilities. Through years of hard work and slow progress, the two are in the biggest matches of a WWE PLE event. This is something people with humble beginnings would be emotional about.
