“There’s No Way”: Pat McAfee Displays Intense Dedication for WWE, Travels More Than 1000 Miles to Attend Fastlane 2023

The crowd at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana, was surprised to see Pat McAfee take the ring after the WWE Women’s title match. The last time he was in the ring was the night Dwayne Johnson returned to SmackDown. However, this time it was to introduce John Cena for his match.

McAfee was there when the thunderous pop for The Rock took place and has been interviewing WWE stars on his YouTube show for quite some time now.

Despite this being the second time in the space of a few weeks that fans have seen McAfee in the ring, they were excited. The guest commentator is a massive WWE fan. Nothing proved it more than his appearance being here at Fastlane.

A day before Fastlane, McAfee was in Texas. To attend the show, he travelled 1000 miles to Indianapolis. Taking the ring, he said, “There’s no way I would have missed this show on this night.” This showed his love for the WWE Universe.

Before announcing John Cena, he also called Michael Cole the greatest of all time. Following his introduction to Cena, he sat at the commentary desk for the remainder of the match.

McAfee had some great guests on his YouTube show, including Brock Lesnar, who discussed a lot more his personal life. The fans love his show due to the raw and unscripted nature of it. Fans believe that it allows the guests to open up more.

McAfee resumes his commentary duties during the Fastlane match

Once he was done with his introduction, he resumed his commentary duties beside Cole and Corey Graves. The commentary was tight during the entire match, and McAfee’s enthusiasm elevated things when necessary.

During the end of the match, when the hot tag to Knight was made, the passion in McAfee could be heard. In a similar vein to the icon JR, McAfee’s words built the hype for the listeners at home. Fans were quick to share positive feedback about the commentary on social media.
