There is a different kind of excitement this time around, mainly due to the special packs that are included in the game. While fans will get the Nightmare Family Pack, the most awaited Downloadable Content (DLC) is the Forty Years of WrestleMania pack. This will be an ode to the company’s flagship show. While you might be wondering which WrestleMania matches could emerge as part of this pack, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.

The Golden & the Attitude Era makes its way to WWE 2k24

The two eras that helped shape WWE have to be the Golden and the Attitude Eras. As a tribute to these two legendary eras, the 2024 installment of the video game will have the most memorable matches from them. WrestleMania 3 featured two of the most memorable matches. One featured ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage going against Ricky Steamboat. The other featured Hulk Hogan and Andre The Ginat. These two matches will be included in the pack.

Other matches from this era include; Rick Rude vs Ultimate Warrior- WrestleMania 5. We also have Hulk Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior- WrestleMania 6, & Bret Hart vs Roddy Piper from WrestleMania 8. The New Generation Era which lasted from 1993 to 1997 was the bridge between the Golden and the Attitude Era. Only one match from that era will be in the game and that would be the match between Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon from WrestleMania 10.

Two matches from the Attitude Era will be in the game. The famous Bret Hart vs ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin from WrestleMania 13. Along with that, the Steve Austin vs The Rock from WrestleMania 17 will also be there in the pack.

One thing that needs to be noted is that the pack will include 21 WrestleMania matches. As for now, just 17 have been revealed. Now let’s have a look at the matches post-Attitude Era.

The New Era

A couple of matches from the Ruthless Aggression and the PG Era are also in the pack. The Eddie Gurrero and Kurt Angle match from WrestleMania 20, & The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels from WrestleMania 25 will be in the game. Talking about some modern-day matches, we have Seth Rollins vs Randy Orton from WrestleMania 31 included in the pack. The Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair from WrestleMania 35 also made it to the list. The Fiend Bray Wyatt vs John Cena from WrestleMania 36, & Kevin Owens vs Stone Cold from WrestleMania 38 are also included.

There will be four matches from WrestleMania 39. One would be the Rhea Ripley vs Charlotte Flair matchup. Asuka vs Bianca Belair will also be there. Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes from WrestleMania 39 is also included in it. Reports also suggested that only 21 matches from four decades will be in the pack, and fans are confused.
