REVEALED: WWE 2K24 ‘40 Years of WrestleMania’ Release Date Might Upset Many Fans; Extremely Unique Surprise in Store

Fans have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on the upcoming WWE 2k24. The much-awaited trailer of the game was revealed on January 22, 2024. While the cover features the American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes, fans will get their hands on the game on March 8, 2024. While many things have made fans excited about the game, one thing that fans have been eagerly waiting for is the Forty Years of WrestleMania pack. But we have some good news and some bad news for the fans here.
WWE 2k24 Forty Years of WrestleMania won’t be available on Day 1
Let’s get the bad news out of the way. Reports suggest that the pack will be Downloadable Content (DLC) and fans shouldn’t expect it on day 1 of the launch. The estimated time of release for the highly anticipated mode is expected to arrive during the summer.

To clear up some confusion, differently from the past, this year's 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition Bonus Pack will not be released on day one.
It will be a post-launch DLC expected for Summer 2024.

The reason could be that the pack features the arena for the WrestleMania 40. WWE might not want to spoil the arena for the PLE, which is scheduled for April. Now talking about the good news, this will be the first time WWE 2k will have the WrestleMania arena of that same year.

While fans are eagerly waiting for the WrestleMania pack, there is another pack that has fans excited.

The Nightmare Family Pack
Fans could agree that Cody Rhodes’ second run with WWE has been a spectacular one. The star now goes by the alias American Nightmare, which is a nod to his father’s gimmick, the American Dream. With the upcoming installment of the game, WWE issued a tribute to the Rhodes family with a special pack that is available on pre-order. The pack which is called The Nightmare Family Pack is available if fans pre-order the standard edition of the game.

The pack, which will also be a DLC pack, includes Cody Rhodes’ father, Dusty Rhodes in his 1976 avatar, along with his arch nemesis, Billy Graham. Along with that, three avatars of Cody Rhodes will be available in the pack. This includes the infamous Stardust gimmick, the masked, Undashing Cody Rhodes, and his toy, Mattel version. But that’s not all, his pet Siberian Husky, Pharoh will be available as a gold rarity card in the MyGM mode. Are you excited about both downloadable packs?
