This movie sets a perfect example for Dwayne Johnson to exploit his mountain-sized physique and ‘electrifying’ character.

In addition, The Rock would play an anti-superhero gimmick as Black Adam in comics is a ritual villain. For anyone playing the strongest meta human on Earth is quite challenging.

But Johnson took up the challenge to play the role of a supervillain with dedication and ate up the character. Today, The Rock shared an ultimate photo wherein he showcased how he adapted himself to the Black Adam character.

Why did Dwayne Johnson vouch to not sit on Black Adam’s throne?

Dwayne Johnson mentioned, “I made a promise to myself that I wouldn’t sit on it until we shot the actual scene where Black Adam has earned his right to take his sacred place on high.”

According to the DC comics and Black Adam mythology, the meaning and power of his throne holds a prominent place. Thus, even though the throne of Black Adam was on the film set during filming, Johnson never experienced the throne until this moment.

Until when The Rock did not sit on the throne of Black Adam?

The production and filming of Black Adam are at the final stages, and The Rock unveiled his moment with the throne of Black Adam. Dwayne Johnson noted that the anti-superhero’s throne is a massive deal.

Today, DC and Seven Bucks Production completed the moment where Black Adam takes on his throne. Therefore, before filming this scene, Johnson never sat on the throne of Black Adam because he wanted to live the character completely.

“His throne is a big deal. So I always just sat my big a** at the steps and did my homework. We finally filmed ‘the iconic moment,’ and what a moment it was,” The Rock added.

Instead, the former WWE World Champion The Rock used to sit on the ladder below the royal seat. Filming the DC’s Black Adam’s throne scene for the wrestler turned actor was an “iconic moment” indeed. He also shared a sneak peek to the throne of Black Adam, created by an artist known as Bosslogic.
