“He Made It Cool”: John Cena Once Recalled How Dwayne Johnson’s NSFW Remark About His Mom Didn’t Offend Him

The year 2011 saw a ‘Once in a Lifetime’ match between The Rock and John Cena. While the build-up to the match, Dwayne Johnson had cut some top-notch promos on the 16-time world champion. The promos went over the boundary line that WWE set in the current PG era. Yet ‘The Brahma Bull’ made some comments about Cena’s mom, but the F9 star once shared not being offended by it.

A few years ago, John Cena appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden. ‘The Cenation Leader’ recalled Johnson making an NSFW comment about Cena’s mom in his promos. However, this didn’t offend at all.

Cena said, “Believe it or not once a guy named Dwayne Johnson, who is known in our circle as The Rock. Politely and say this seriously, with utmost eyebrows of intentions, he had s*x with my mom. But (he said) in such a way that he made it cool.”

Corden replied, “I gotta say, I’ll let The Rock have s*x with my mum. I would, I’ll go for it.” The WWE legend added, “I wasn’t too offended by it.”

Cena and The Rock were having a beef prior to their feud starting in WWE. Cena took a shot at DJ for leaving WWE for Hollywood. However, ‘Super Cena’ later felt regret for saying all those things to DJ.

John Cena once credited Dwayne Johnson for indirectly helping for to enter Hollywood

After their match at WrestleMania 29, Cena, who had a few films under his name, decided to make a full-time acting career. Moreover, he credited The Rock for paving a way into Hollywood while talking with GQ.

He said, “By doing what he’s done with his class and professionalism, he’s given an opportunity to folks like me. Where people are like, ‘Yeah, okay. Well, I’ll take a chance on John.”

The Peacemaker star shared there is a reason why Hollywood is now giving chances to WWE superstars and that is because of Dwayne Johnson.

Will The Rock and Super Cena return to WrestleMania 39?

While the grandest stage is nearing, many are excited for major returns at the event. However, everyone is counting on John Cena and The Rock to return for a match.

There are rumors of DJ returning to the Royal Rumble and having a feud with Roman Reigns. Moreover, there are talks of Cena having a match with Austin Theory or Logan Paul at WrestleMania 38.
