The love for WWE of John Cena is unparalleled. Even though he successfully transitioned into a Hollywood star, fans still hope to see him wrestling in the ring. Even though he is not a full-time performer inside the ring, Cena is close to several superstars. A former WWE Champion recently shared about the same.

A few days ago, Seth Rollins gave an interview with Pro Wrestling Illustrated. The Visionary shared ‘The Cenation Leader’ mentoring him and several superstars, even though not being present every week.

The Architect said, “John’s the GOAT man. John’s the best, John is incredible. And you know, I’m a footnote, really, in his career. John influenced so many talent over the years, he was a generational guy. For me though, on the other side of that, John influenced what I do so heavily.”

He added, “I took a ton of inspiration from John. I learned a lot being in the ring with John. I learned a lot watching John behind the scenes. And John still is a mentor to me, even now, even though he isn’t around that often.”

Cena has elevated The Architect’s career in a lot of ways when Rollins mainstreamed as a singles star on the main roster. Their feud indeed helped the 36-year-old to become one of the top stars in the WWE. 

Seth Rollins is happy to be a part of the story more of John Cena in 2k23

WWE revealed Cena as the cover star of 2k23, which will have several new features. It was not just one picture of Cena, but the Hollywood star’s other two versions also made the cover.

However, the game has a story mode for the 16-time world champion. With several other stars in it, the former Universal Champion is also proud to be a part of it.

Rollins said, “So it’s awesome to him portrayed in this way as the legend that he is. I’m very excited to see kind of what his story mode looks like in the game. Like I said, I’m just a bit part in that. So it’s my pleasure and my honor to be even a little footnote in the story of John Cena.”

The Aerialist has several memorable matches with Cena. Two of them are Team Cena vs Team Authority at Survivor Series in 2014 and John Cena vs Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins at Royal Rumble in 2015.
