Millionaire Hollywood Actress Once Roasted Dwayne Johnson Over a Rematch Against John Cena: “His Knees Won’t Be Able to…”

The last major feud Dwayne Johnson had in WWE was in 2012 and 2013 against John Cena. Billed as a ‘Once in a Lifetime’ match at WrestleMania 28, they had another match at WrestleMania 29 for the WWE title.

The WWE Universe loved their feud and would be ready to see it all again. Surprisingly, it seems a 39-year-old well-known millionaire Hollywood actress isn’t a fan of a third match between them in WWE.

A year ago, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt appeared for an interview on BBC UK. The host shared a fan question about a rematch between The Rock and John Cena. However, Blunt took a jibe at The Brahma Bull saying, “His knees won’t be able to take it” 

Johnson replied, “Who John’s?”The British actress said, “No yours. I don’t want to see you (wrestling John again)”

However, the WWE legend claimed, “John’s not ready for that. John’s not ready for that rematch.” The reply impressed Blunt, and she replied, “Ohh (shocked face). Fighting talk.”

It seems over the entire time DJ and Blunt were filming The Jungle Cruise; he made her quite familiar with WWE. Also, she might be familiar with this feud as The Rock vs John Cena was marketed massively and the entire world was rooting for the same. 

Dwayne Johnson and John Cena reunited as an alliance at WrestleMania 32 

The feud between The Cenation Leader and The Great One was a passing of the torch moment for Cena. This was a major feud for The Rock after his match against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 18.

After facing each other at two Mania’s, nobody thought Cena and DJ would share the ring at the grandest stage again. Johnson made a surprise return at WrestleMania 32 and won an impromptu match against Erick Rowan in six seconds.

The Wyatt Family surrounded The Rock and then Cena also made a surprise return to save The People’s Champion. From being each other’s rivals, the former WWE Champions became allies at the showcase of immortals that night.

The Rock once compared Emily Blunt to Stone Cold Steve Austin

The Texas Rattlesnake is one of the top opponents of DJ in WWE. They both gave each other a hard time in the ring to bring the best out of them.

While speaking with Comicbook.com The Rock said filming with Emily Blunt was similar to going back and forth with Stone Cold Steve Austin. This may be one of the reasons they enjoyed filming The Jungle Cruise, and this is the highest comparison Johnson has ever done.
