WWE Legend Defends Dominik Mysterio From Cyber Bullies Amidst 26-Year-Old’s Brilliant Heel Run

Everyone has something or other to say about the engrossing Mysterio family storyline going on in WWE. The feud between Dominik Mysterio and Rey Mysterio attracted much attention in the recent past and delivered a thrilling match to the fans in WrestleMania 39 as well. Along with fans, it appealed to one of the Attitude Era legends as well. However, he seems to take the contrary side from the majority. 

The WWE Universe knows of Mick Foley as a personality who voices his bold opinions, even though it differs from the rest. Be it through his podcast or social media handles, he assures to make himself heard. In one such recent action by the WWE legend, he unabashedly took the side of Dominik Mysterio while supporting a greater cause. 

Mick Foley voiced for Dominik Mysterio’s justice against cyberbullies

A few hours back, Mick Foley took to his Instagram to put up an image of the junior Mysterio along with a heading that showed his opinion of him. 

The picture included this line; “You look at him and see a bad son who’s tormenting his father, but all I see is an ex con who’s trying to put his life together.” It is clear Foley is playing to the kayfabe arrest and character played by Dominik Mysterio on screen.

Even though these lines clarified Foley’s POV of Dom Dom and his struggles, the former explained it in detail in the caption. As per Foley, the 26-year-old isn’t freely enjoying his life after being arrested in kayfabe, as most people would think.

The ‘Hardcore Legend’ then also sheds light on his opinion of the feud between Rey Mysterio and his son. 

He wrote, “This predicament with his meddling father @619iamlucha sure has been a fly in the Mysterio family ointment, I will say that.”

In making his views public, Foley’s objective is to demand justice for the junior Mysterio when everyone appears to be against him. His brilliant heel run in the company has turned fans against him who frequently boo him for his actions against his father. Moreover, many fans don’t shy from sharing their views against Dominik’s despicable character online.

Thus, Foley also added #JusticeForDom in his post to stop all the cyber bullying that he must be getting. 

Along with Foley, it looks like Rey Mysterio’s heart is also melting for Dominik Mysterio. His recent statements might surprise fans as well.

After engaging in an aggressive feud with his real son, The Ultimate Underdog still believes that it was just a phase. He also thinks that it’s his son’s jealousy gave rise to this feud. 

However, even though the father is affectionate toward his son, it seems like he isn’t likely to stop without seeing an end to this popular father-son feud.
