LA Knight joined WWE at the age of 38 in February 2021. Within these two years, he has found a good amount of growth in the competitive roster. Knight made his way through NXT to SmackDown. Now the wrestler has a place on the main roster. Moreover, fans even want him to come out victorious at the ‘Money in the Bank’ PLE taking place on July 1st, 2023.

Due to how much people started liking his matches, fans even started comparing Knight to both Austin and Johnson. So much so that this information even got to notable WWE stars. A few days ago, both Zelina Vega and LA Knight appeared in an interview. There, both engaged in a verbal battle where Vega even lashed out at the latter calling him “Rock and Stone Cold lite“.

Recently, Knight sat down in an interview with ‘Cheap Heat’. The 40-year-old started talking about the comparison that people have been making between him and the other WWE legends. Despite being angry over the trolls and comparisons, Knight seemingly felt humbled. In the interview, he went on to say, “There is Kobe (Bryan) to (Michael) Jordan, those kind of comparisons. If you want to make me the Kobe to their Jordan, I’ll take it.

The reason why Knight feels comfortable with the comparison is probably because he perceives it as a comparison between two legendary NBA stars. Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan are two of the more prominent names in the NBA. Although both players started off at different times in the sport, Bryant was still compared to Jordan. This was because how both of them were powerful athletes of their times and the way they impacted games.

Similarly, the 40-year-old also considers himself worthy enough to be compared to legends if fans give him some recognition too.
