WWE is a popular sport and has fans all around the world. These fans often show their love for the sport in different ways. Wearing favorite wrestlers-inspired outfits is one such example.

Also, not only fans but popular names in the entertainment industry also do the same. Like the time when Canadian singer The Weeknd wore an outfit inspired by Seth Rollins, from the time he was in The Shield, at Coachella.

Similarly, a recent occurrence involving an NBA superstar imitating the iconic look of WWE Legend and Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin has gone viral on social media.

On Tuesday, it was Memphis Grizzlies vs Los Angeles Lakers at FedExForum Arena. The Grizzlies picked up the victory over the Lakers by 121-109. But their victory did not create as much buzz as the Grizzlies’ Dillon Brooks attire does prior to the game.

When the Canadian professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies arrived at the FedExForum Arena, fans saw him wearing an outfit that is inspired by “Stone Cold” Steve Austin. 

The 27-year-old NBA star wore a black vest with no t-shirt underneath. On the lower half of his body, he has blue ripped jean shorts. Also, he paired his attire with Louis Vuitton glasses, red sneakers, and a Christian Dior belt, making him a rough version of the six-time WWE Champion. 

Brooks’ attire draws in all kinds of reactions from the fans

After the 6’6 NBA player’s attire went viral on the internet, fans flooded Twitter with hundreds of comments. Some of the comments were positive, while some were negative. Here are some of the top comments from the fans.

These fans complimented the Ontario-born basketball player for his outfit.

However, some fans did not approve of the Memphis Grizzlies’ player attire.

The WWE Universe associates the black vest with ripped jean shorts, as the traditional outfit of The Texas Rattlesnake.

The last time fans saw Austin in action was at WrestleMania 38 when he came out of his retirement to square off against ‘The Prizefighter’ Kevin Owens.

It was a “No Holds Barred” match in which Stone Cold picked up the victory over the three-time United States Champion.
