Shaquille O’Neal is known for his witty puns and ferocious comebacks with athletes and celebrities. The NBA icon, Shaq once tried to do the same with WWE Megastar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. But was he successful in tricking ‘The Rock’ into one of his funny stand-up businesses? Let’s find out?

When the NBA panel mentioned Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s name, Shaq was pretty confident that he could defeat him in a snap. However, this is where ‘The Rock’ popped on a big screen behind them inside the NBA studio.
Shaquille O’Neal couldn’t beat The Rock?
The Great One responded to Shaquille O’Neal that he could not even beat him in his dreams. Wrestler turned actor first acknowledged the greatness of Shaquille O’Neal. But Shaq did not see what Johnson had prepared for him.
Dwayne Johnson said, “I’ve known Shaq for a long time; you bringing my name up all of a sudden? Shaq says he could beat me. Now I know Shaq is one of the most dominant players of all time, one of the greatest players of all time. I believe four world championships, Gold medal. On top of that, he made ‘Kazoo’… I mean “Kazaam”, It doesn’t matter what it is. The bottom line is Shaq can’t beat me.”

When The Rock applied his in-ring skills to shush down Shaq, the look on the face of the NBA icon was beyond unimaginable. ‘Inside The NBA’ panel laughed as they watched Johnson mocking Shaq. Then, The Rock got into his wrestling gimmick, the heel character, which has silenced many WWE superstars in the ring.
The Big Shamrock did not outsmart Dwayne Johnson, yet he got back at him!
Shaq’s fellowman, Charles Barkley, shared the loudest laugh when The Rock straight up denied losing to Shaquille O’Neal. So, The Big Shamrock asked Dwayne Johnson if he thinks Shaq could beat Chuck.
The NBA icon wanted to outsmart The Rock because if he could beat Chuck, it was easy for Shaq to put Johnson in the dust. However, the wrestler turned actor did not fall into Shaq’s trap and said, “You can’t get me, brother, you can’t get me!”
The Rock turned to Shaquille O’Neal and asked him if he thought he could beat Charles Barkley. Shaq responded with a “yes” and started explaining his perspective. But, The Rock cut him off in the middle in his typical heel manner and shouted, “It doesn’t matter what you think!”
