It’s been said before, and here it is again – WWE Superstars have their own set of dream matches too. For example, Drew McIntyre wants a match against Tyson Fury. He doesn’t know when it’ll happen, but he’s positive it will.
During an interview, McIntyre was asked his opinion about the match. He wants the match to happen, but he knows that he won’t be the one deciding. However, he has a particular vision for this match.
“100 percent I see it happening. I’ve got a vision of how I’d like to see it happen. I don’t make the decisions. That’s for others to talk about behind closed doors. But I know somewhere like the UK it would be huge business. I know for meeting Fury, watching him, and the way he went about things when he was here last time.

“He’s willing to put everything he’s got into it. With me, I know I can get a performance out of anybody on this planet. I know he’s willing to put in the work, and he’s such an entertainer on top of it. It would be a big deal.” (H/t DAZN.)
Drew McIntyre wants UK fans to notice the WWE product
‘The Scottish Warrior’ has a specific reason due to which he absolutely wants this match to materialize.
Since there hasn’t been any grand PPV in the UK since SummerSlam ‘92, he wants to give the British fans a grand match between Tyson Fury and himself. Per McIntyre – “It can’t get more larger than life to take two of the UK’s most successful sons in their fields and have a Battle of Britain.”

McIntyre knows that if a PPV happens in the UK, he will be able to entertain the fans if he wrestles someone from the WWE roster. However, that match will be nothing different from what they do otherwise.

As the duo has kept their feud alive on social media, it’s possible that a match between the two will happen sometime in the future.
Currently, Drew McIntyre is preparing for WrestleMania Backlash, where he will wrestle Braun Strowman and WWE Champion Bobby Lashley for the title.
