WWE fans have always known about Donald Trump as the man who is a great friend to Vince McMahon. Not only did he give the former Chairman and CEO of WWE a place to hold two WrestleMania events, but he also contributed his popularity to make the Battle of the Billionaires a monumental event in WrestleMania history.

Being the ex-President of the United States, the man has been prone to some controversial moments on the news, but in WWE, everyone liked his company. But this WWE Hall of Famer and former WWE Champion once opened up about his feelings about working alongside Trump and it didn’t go well. But this incident between the two happened on the set of another popular television series rather than WWE.

WWE Hall of Famer reveals his true feelings about Donald Trump

While talking about his experience on an episode of Roman Atwood’s podcast named, The Untold Stories Of WWE Superstar Goldberg!, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg, opened up about his bond with Donald Trump. He said, “Do you know that I tried to get fired from The Apprentice from the first day I arrived? It was one of the most miserable experiences of mine… He was a piece of work, man.

He continued, “I knew that dude wasn’t gonna be the most popular guy in the world when I figured out that he really didn’t have any social skills. Like, zero … You’d go up and shake his hand, and he has no social skills. He doesn’t know how to interact with a person one-on-one without putting a front up. He was uncomfortable.

Bill, his real name, was part of Celebrity Apprentice 3 in 2009. Here he participated in the reality TV show for about 6 weeks till being fired by Donald Trump. Trump was one of the judges on the show. Both Trump and Goldberg were on this show during the downtime in their entertainment career. But while Bill would join WWE after a couple of years, Trump had just done the entire Battle of the Billionaires segment two years ago.
