Kevin Owens and Ezekiel started their feud right just after WrestleMania 38 on RAW. Ezekiel made his WWE debut on that episode of RAW and Owens believed he was Elias.

After two months of trying to prove that Ezekiel was Elias, Kevin Owens challenged him for a match at Hell in a Cell. WWE shared it on their official Twitter, “After weeks of trying to prove that Ezekiel is NOT Elias’ younger brother, @FightOwensFight finally steps into the ring with @IAmNotEliasWWE! It’s OWENS vs. EZEKIEL, TONIGHT at #HIAC!”

The match started with the crowd chanting, “Zeke,” which only served to further infuriate Owens. After a few punches on Owens, Ezekiel landed with a flying knee on his face. Also, the younger brother of Elias connected with an elbow drop to win the match quickly.

Moreover, the match then went ringside, where Owens reversed a whip into the ring post. Ezekiel hit the ring post hard and was down for a while. Zeke was busted open from going into the ring post.

There was blood coming out from the top left side of Zeke’s forehead. However, he made it into the ring and completed the match. Kevin Owens eventually won the match by pinfall after he connected a Stunner on Ezekiel.

WWE shared Owens’ victory on Twitter, “.@FightOwensFight wins at #HIAC!”.

WWE fans react to Ezekiel being busted open at Hell in a Cell

Obviously, it surprised the fans as Owens busted Ezekiel open during the match after hitting the ring post, and they expressed their concerns.

Is Ezekiel actually Elias?

Kevin Owens challenged Ezekiel for a match at Hell in a Cell after it frustrated him that Zeke was not accepting he was Elias. Further, Ezekiel is Elias’s younger brother who debuted on the episode of RAW after WrestleMania 38 when Kevin Owens was cutting a promo.

As per Ezekiel, Elias is a free soul musician and is currently on the tour in search of some good music. Also, ahead of the event, in an interview with Byron Saxton, Zeke shared a dream of winning the Tag Team Championship in WWE.

He said, “We grew up watching WWE. It was my dream that one day, we would one day be Tag Team Champions. I really think that should happen somewhere down the line. I really hope so.” Ezekiel and Elias as Tag Team Champions? 👀@IAmNotEliasWWE  #HIAC”

Nevertheless, Ezekiel and Elias look very much similar in looks. Many people, including WWE superstars, don’t believe Zeke when he says, “I’m not Elias”.
