Dwayne Johnson is better known as the most electrifying entertainer among fans. But do you have any idea about his backup career choice? Well, if not the actor or wrestler, then Dwayne wanted to be a gynaecologist. 

A few years back, Dwayne had a Q&A session on his official YouTube channel. There he revealed that he’d be working as a gynaecologist if he wasn’t into sports or the entertainment industry.

Dwayne Johnson and his first step towards sports

Dwayne Johnson didn’t have typical teenage years like most Americans. He changed several high schools until he got admitted to ‘Freedom High School’ in Pennsylvania. Dwayne was infamous for street fighting, check fraud and theft. He even went to jail multiple times while he was still a minor. A local newspaper even described him as ‘a troubled teenager’.

However, once his high school football coach saw potential in him, the tables started to turn. He joined his school football team. Later, he carved his niche in the wrestling world and then ultimately in the film industry. 

The Anoa’i family tradition

Dwayne Johnson followed the family tradition and started his professional wrestling career in 1996. He got popular with the ring name ‘The Rock’. During his time in WWE, Dwayne was part of some amazing matches and engaging storylines. He feuded with several WWE legends that include John Cena and Triple H as well.

Dwayne got his first break as an actor in 2001 when he became a part of the movie ‘The Mummy Returns’. With the initiation of the 2010s, Dwayne Johnson became a popular name in Hollywood as well. His 2011 movie ‘Fast Five’ became the seventh highest-grossing film of that year. And with that, he never looked back and keep of marching forward in this new direction.
