$800M Worth Dwayne Johnson Justifies Not Gifting His Bestfriend Kevin Hart a Birthday Gift

Dwayne Johnson is one of the most lovable celebrities in the world. But it isn’t just the audience who adores the former WWE champion. Ever since his move to Hollywood, he has made some remarkable friends. His friendships with Jason Statham, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot are well known in the entertainment world.

But one of his closest friends just happens to be the comedic legend, Kevin Hart. And their comedic chemistry is something that attracts fans not only to movies but also to their interviews and talk show appearances. This relationship has also profited both of them as they have appeared in 5 movies since 2016’s Central Intelligence. And you might wonder what celebrity best friend’s gift each other on birthdays.

On the rep carpet for the premiere of the new movie, DC League of Super-Pets, the interviewer asked if Hart had got The Rock something for his milestone 50th birthday. To which he replied, “He didn’t get me anything. Not a damn thing. I give him something every year — every year I send something to his house. Every year. But I’m a different kind of friend.”

To which The Rock replied, “The truth is, I didn’t give him a gift, but at one in the morning I sent him a video, broke out a new bottle of tequila, [and] I said, ‘This is for you,’ and made a nice toast. So I did get him something.” and we agree that Johnson did give something to one of his closest friends in Hollywood.

The two have a great bond on and off screen, which comes out organically in the little bits and pieces we get in talk shows or interviews. This is something that Hart acknowledges in the interview after making a few jokes at his best friend’s expense.
