A Certain ‘McMahon’ Approached The Undertaker for 2022 WWE Hall of Fame Induction

The WWE Universe will finally get to see the moment they all have been waiting for. Soon, one of the biggest entertainers in sports entertainment, The Undertaker, is going to take his place among several other WWE legends in the WWE Hall of Fame.
Recently, during an interview on the Out of Character with Ryan Satin podcast, ‘The Phenom’ talked about his WWE Hall of Fame induction.
He revealed a few years back he turned it down when WWE wanted to induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame. But this time, after getting a call from Vince McMahon, The Undertaker claimed he felt it was time for him to start the next chapter.

‘The Phenom‘ said, “I was approached a few years earlier, and they wanted to induct me then. But I didn’t have closure yet. And I still figure out I was going to work a couple of more times. So, I didn’t. So, I passed.”
“When Vince called me this time, I said, ‘Yeah, I’m good. It’s time’. I am coming to grips with the fact that the career is over and it’s time for that next chapter,” he added.
Mr. McMahon and The Undertaker obviously share a great bond and the two men have massive respect for each other. And Vince is himself going to induct the former WWE Champion into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.

Will The Undertaker be the first person to get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Vince McMahon?
This is indeed a special thing that the WWE chairman will induct an individual into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Vince is going to induct The Undertaker into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. But it won’t be the first time he is doing such a thing.

In 1994, James Dudley became the first person who got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Vince McMahon. Later, Mr. McMahon also inducted Donald Trump and Stone Cold Steve Austin into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 and in 2009, respectively.

And now in 2022, he is going to induct The Undertaker. But there might be a few more with the likes of The Rock, John Cena, and Brock Lesnar still to come in the coming years, most probably.
