She said, “It was brought to my attention a couple months ago when a Wiseman told me that as the brand continues to grow, Shawn Michaels, he may need some help and that’s where I come in. I have a unique relationship with the NXT roster. I have some of my own ideas, sometimes they work, sometimes they don’t.”

Ever since then, she has taken a new role as an authority figure for NXT and become HBK’s assistant.

After her segment with Heyman in October, Raine has shifted to the role of on-screen assistant for Shawn Michaels. She is the intermediary between talents and Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative. Plus, she also makes announcements on Michaels’ behalf, which is what she did this week on NXT.

During a backstage segment, she told the fans that the NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will be returning next week on the developmental brand. Heyman recognized her true potential and did the right thing by advising her last year.

Good for Ava that she took his advice and has now perfectly settled into her role. Before her assistant role, she was a member of a villainous faction, Schism, where she spent many months wreaking havoc on the NXT roster alongside her stablemates.
