Kenny omega completed yet another herculean task and took out Rich Swann to steal the Impact World Championship and become the first-ever inter-promotional triple champion in wrestling history! He has moved even further in his goal to become a ‘belt collector’ and is now one of the biggest figures in the sport.

On the latest episode of Impact Wrestling, Kenny Omega diffused the explosive effect of Rich Swann to finish it off with a One-Winged Angel, pinning him to win the gold.

Former WWE Superstar Chelsea Green was quick to praise Omega for his performance and acknowledged the gravity of his achievement in a recent post on Twitter.

Kenny Omega is now AEW World Champion, AAA Mega Champion, and Impact World Champion. This means that he will be trotting around on his high horse as a triple champion of 3 major wrestling promotions.

Make no mistake, Omega is the only one to do it and this full-blown heel role makes him a sort of Thanos collecting Infinity Stones. He is also the only wrestler to win AEW, AAA, NJPW, and Impact World titles, a truly phenomenal record.

Now that he has collected yet another scalp, Omega may turn back to NJPW right into the fiery eyes of Will Ospreay, who currently holds what the AEW Superstars wants- the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

This match is certainly a possibility, given that Tony Khan is all for breaking open the Forbidden Door and collaborating with others. Kenta already collated the crossover with Jon Moxley, and now, we may see Kenny Omega head over to familiar territory once more to battle it out in one of the biggest matches in recent pro-wrestling history.
