Is Adam Cole going to return to WWE? Did he actually leave WWE? What’s happening? Well, here’s the tea.
Apparently, Cole is free to work anywhere he wants to since his contract extension did not have the non-compete clause. Now, Vince McMahon wants to keep Cole in WWE. So, the question is – will Cole be tempted to use the lack of his non-compete clause to work with another company or will McMahon manage to keep him at WWE?
As of now, he has made no decision. It could be that Cole is thinking it over. In fact, he has to think it over since AEW had reportedly sent him a contract even when he was working with WWE on an extended contract.

So, Cole now has the option to choose between the giant, WWE, and the smaller one which is making gigantic impacts, AEW. What do you think Cole should do?
What would work best for Adam Cole?
To be honest, both companies would serve him well. WWE is the platform where he made his name, earned fame. Staying with WWE would help him rise more.
In fact, Vince McMahon reportedly wants to bring Cole to the main roster. If that’s the case, Adam Cole needs to join WWE. He will get the chance to compete for either the Universal Championship Title or the WWE Championship title depending on which brand he works with.

Moreover, Finn Balor is on SmackDown and Karrion Kross on Raw. Both of them moved from NXT to the main roster after the WWE Universe returned to the arenas. So, potentially Cole can come to one of the brands, pick up a feud with one of them, and keep the fire of NXT alive on the main roster.

Adam Cole didn’t have a non-compete clause in the extension so would be free to work anywhere after today.

But! AEW is a great option as well. Currently, AEW is doing very well in terms of ratings and viewership because of CM Punk’s debut. If this continues, very soon AEW shows will start overshadowing WWE shows, if not all, definitely some.
