Triple H and Stephanie McMahon Send Out Emotional Tributes to Brodie Lee and Family
The wrestling world was shaken earlier today with news coming in of the sudden death of AEW Superstar Brodie Lee. Twitter exploded to life with condolences coming in from all sides for the deceased star’s family.
Among the condolences were those of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The WWE Executives sent heartfelt messages for Brodie’s family and acknowledged his talent as well as his dedication to his children.

Brodie Lee was an underrated talent. He was capable of playing every role handed to him and truly showed his sparks when AEW gave him a title run.

A brief stint as AEW TNT Champion was enough to convince fans of the potential he had. Unfortunately, this was the last piece of wrestling he could give us before his untimely death.
While there has been no official medical report, Lee’s wife Manda revealed that he passed away due to non-COVID related lung conditions. You can see her entire message to her husband in the post below.
Brodie Lee was a close friend to WWE and AEW Superstars alike
Brodie Lee’s demise brought the entire wrestling world together. Generally, the divided fanbases of WWE and AEW as well as their respective rosters do not communicate much with each other.
However, all barriers were lowered as WWE Superstars also paid tribute to Lee. In fact, Brodie Lee and his family received so many condolences that Twitter was flooded with tributes to him and his legacy.

The official AEW Twitter account re-tweeted Stephanie McMahon’s tweet on the star. This temporary truce between two rival promotions just proves how much Brodie Lee meant to the wrestling world.

Brodie was a dear friend to many of his former colleagues in WWE. Before his career in AEW, he had a stint in WWE as Luke Harper. His most memorable moments were a part of the Wyatt family.
The Superstar was widely recognized for his love of family and his great personality outside the ring. The wrestling world lost a true star today, and Brodie Lee will surely be missed by us all.
