AEW Wrestler Ruins Retirement for WWE Legend With a Brutal Attack

Former WWE superstar X-Pac returned to in-ring action after a long time. He teamed up with Joey Janela and took on Matt Cardona and Brian Myers.

X-Pac and Janela defeated Cardona and Myers at GCW’s Heartbreak PPV. Following the match, the WWE legend addressed the fans and interacted with them. But in the middle of his speech, Joey Janela pulled off something that no one expected.

Janela hit X-Pac with a superkick. The fans looked unhappy and weren’t pleased with Janela’s actions. But this possibly gave rise to a new feud between Joey Janela and X-Pac.

This was X-Pac’s first match since April 2019. The WWE legend was rumored to return to WWE at the 2022 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.

Even though it did not happen at Royal Rumble, he is once again back in action. And this is a great moment for all his fans to see him competing inside the squared circle once again.

The 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble Match witnessed the return of several WWE legends. And there were some surprises too. But the Men’s Royal Rumble Match had little surprise. And this is one thing that the fans did not like.

X-Pac came to Joey Janela’s rescue at GCW The Wrld

At GCW The Wrld, Matt Cardona defeated Joey Janela. But Cardona looked to further punish Janela following the match. However, he wasn’t successful in his attempt because of X-Pac.

The WWE legend surprised everyone and made an appearance. He hit Matt Cardona with the X-Factor and helped Joey Janela.

This did not go well with Matt Cardona. Recently, Matt Cardona even burnt X-Pac’s 1-2-3 Hasbro Action Figure. He even took to Twitter and posted a video of this.

But X-Pac will have to focus on Joey Janela following Janela’s recent betrayal. This would also possibly mean X-Pac is likely to enter into a feud with Joey Janela. And the fans could see more of him.
