WWE Raw Superstar Congratulates Hangman Adam Page on AEW World Title Win

AEW hosted the Full Gear PPV for the third time today. They hold this PPV around Veterans Day and there was a lot of excitement built around this event recently. The superstars gave their all to produce one hell of a show. But it was Hangman Page who stole the headlines today.

Hangman Page defeated Kenny Omega to become the AEW World Champion for the first time in his AEW career. This victory was appreciated by not only fans of Page, but even one WWE Raw superstar congratulated Page for his victory tonight. Cedric Alexander took to Twitter to congratulate Page for his massive victory tonight.

Cedric Alexander and “Hangman” Adam Page have previously worked together in Ring of Honor. Not only did the WWE superstar wrestle against Page, they even wrestled together as a tag team. Even though the two superstars are now at different companies, but the bond is still there.

Hangman Page finally claims the gold in All Elite Wrestling in his second attempt

“Hangman” Adam Page debuted in AEW as a member of The Elite in 2019. Page impressed everyone by winning the Casino Battle Royale at AEW Double or Nothing PPV. That win gave him the opportunity to become the inaugural AEW World Champion. But he stumbled at the last hurdle as he lost to Chris Jericho at AEW All Out for the AEW World Championship.

Though Page lost, many appreciated his determination and hard work. He certainly became a fan favorite in AEW. In 2020, he teamed up with Kenny Omega and defeated SoCal Uncensored to become the AEW World Tag Team Champions. That victory marked the first-ever title change in the history of AEW.

But after they lost the titles, he was separated from Omega and battled individually. He even got removed from The Elite in August 2020.

However, he took a break from AEW for the birth of his child. But he again returned at AEW Dynamite’s Second Anniversary, adding more excitement among the fans.

On his return, Hangman Page won the seven-man Casino Ladder match to challenge his former friend, Kenny Omega, for the AEW World Championship. Finally, Hangman Page not only got the better of Omega but also got his hands on the AEW World Championship for the first time by defeating Kenny Omega at AEW Full Gear 2021 PPV.
