Monday Night RAW started with a brawl as Nia Jax took on her former tag-team partner Shayna Baszler. Joining on was Raquel Rodriguez, followed by the return of The Eradicator Rhea Ripley. It soon turned out into an all-out brawl between the four as security came out before Ripley called out Jax for the attack earlier. 

But Ripley finished the high-octane segment with a message, which she followed up on through social media as well. Mami was smart to keep it short and simple for Nia Jax.

Rhea Ripley makes a statement upon her return after 21 days

Nia Jax was hinting at going after Rhea Ripley for months before her WWE return. She did the same on September 11th when she intervened in the title match between Rhea Ripley and Raquel Rodriguez. Jax first attacked Raquel Rodriguez to help Ripley win the match. But she later attacked Ripley before delivering a Bonzai drop to end the show.

It led to Ripley missing a few weeks of wrestling as she was left with bruised ribs, as stated by Michael Cole. But Mami’s ‘Dirty Dom’ informed everyone on September 18th show that Ripley did not forget Jax. Ripley did the same when she returned for the October 2nd show.

Rhea Ripley then delivered a two-word message for Nia Jax on October 2nd through X with a picture of her beating Jax. The caption read, “Miss me? 🃏”. It was a reference to Ripley’s 21 days absence from WWE after she was handed a brutal beat down by Jax on the September 11th RAW show.

It is not clear if Rhea Ripley will compete at Fastlane, but speculations are that she might face Nia Jax for a title match at Fastlane. However, it would not be a surprise if Shayna Baszler and Raquel Rodriguez were thrown into the mix. Regardless, Jax and Ripley will face each other soon.

Nia Jax was hinting at her return for a long time

This rivalry goes back to August 2021 when they faced each other in a singles match. Ripley won the match via a surprise roll-up before she sneaked from behind to deliver a Riptide to Nia Jax. ‘The Irresistible Force’ had this in mind while she was preparing for her return.

In an Interview with Bill Apter on August 11th, she revealed that she would take her revenge on Rhea Ripley. She said, “Rhea Ripley, your Dom Dom is not going to be able to help you, honey. I am going to get Payback.” As of now, WWE has confirmed her match against Raquel Rodriguez on the RAW show next week.
