There’s no denying the fact that AEW has always been in search of ex-WWE wrestlers or anyone associated with the renowned promotion to add more experience to their roster. There have been uncountable instances where AEW has hired WWE officials. Similar to their hiring from a year back, they employed another integral member of Triple H‘s NXT, Adam Hopkins.
One known name among the officials of WWE is William Regal, who has almost served a 22-year tenure with the company. However, he was released in January 2022 and joined AEW in March. Regal played a crucial role in developing NXT into what it is today and brought his nous to AEW. Now, it’s time for another person to serve AEW who played a pivotal role in building The Game’s vision for NXT.
