WWE on Fox put out a question for its followers on Twitter – who is the greatest Women’s Champion in the history of WWE? CM Punk swiftly answered with an interesting GIF.

According to the former WWE Superstar, his wife, AJ Lee, is the greatest Women’s Champion ever. This shows that AJ Lee’s biggest support system is none other than her husband!

AJ Lee was involved in storylines with CM Punk, John Cena, and Kane

She made her WWE debut in 2011. Initially, she was involved with Daniel Bryan. Unfortunately, her breakup with him sent her on an emotional downward spiral. As a result, she got involved in romantic storylines with John Cena, Kane, and CM Punk.

There was a brief point when AJ Lee served as WWE Raw’s general manager. Tragically, this tenure arrived at its untimely end owing to her erratic behavior. At this luckless time, she found herself in the arms of Dolph Ziggler.

AJ Lee won several titles during her active days in the wrestling universe. She won the WWE Divas Championship thrice. Overall, she has held the championship title for 406 days.

Furthermore, she has bagged the Slammy Award thrice. This includes her Diva of the year awards in 2012 and 2014 and a ‘Kiss of the Year’ award (with John Cena) in 2012.

Finally, her exit from the company was inevitable after CM Punk quit. There came a point when she had to choose between her husband’s battle with the company and working with the company. In fact, there was a point when she was working for the company that was suing her husband.

On top of that, during her time with WWE, she was not at the best of terms with Stephanie McMahon after she put out a post on Twitter, calling out the company for unequal pay.
