When AJ Styles introduced Omos to the WWE Universe, everybody knew that the latter would shock the world someday. Finally, on Monday Night Raw: February 22nd, 2021, he revealed his dangerous maneuver, a double-handed chokeslam, and Ricochet was the victim.
Firstly, he picked up Ricochet and dropped him on the floor like the latter weighed nothing. This is evidence of his brute strength.
Secondly, his height made the final impact much more brutal than when other Superstars use similar maneuvers. Thirdly, Ricochet had already been defeated by AJ Styles via pinfall, which means he was already tired and sore from the match.
In fact, even his boss AJ Styles was shocked when he witnessed Omos executing the move on Ricochet. For a brief second, it seemed Omos would turn on Styles as well, considering the way he looked at Styles.
Usually, Omos enters the ring when something is about to go wrong with AJ Styles, or ‘The Phenomenal One’ is about to be defeated. However, this time, it was different. Omos attacked Ricochet after Styles defeated him.
WWE has signaled that Omos will be taking part in matches soon, and the roster needs to be very frightened of the behemoth.
As of now, he has shocked the fans with his move, and whoever is the next victim of his wrath should be cautious when he picks them up.
AJ Styles and Ricochet were earlier seen at Elimination Chamber 2021.
Ricochet was a part of the kickoff match between John Morrison, Ali, Elias, and himself. WWE would add the winner of the match to the triple threat match with Matt Riddle and Bobby Lashley for the US Championship.
Even though Ricochet gave his best shot, he couldn’t secure the win after a dive went wrong and the other competitors crashed him into the ring post. Consequently, John Morrison secured the win when he pinned Ali.
On the other hand, AJ Styles was a part of the Raw Elimination Chamber Match. He went up against Drew McIntyre, Kofi Kingston, Jeff Hardy, Sheamus, and Randy Orton.
Styles fought his way until it was only Drew McIntyre and him. Unfortunately, McIntyre used a Claymore on him before he could execute the Phenomenal Forearm on the former WWE Champion.
