AJ Styles appeared in an interview with WWE Now India and answered some fan questions. One of the questions asked to him was about the legend he would like to fight following The Undertaker at The Boneyard Match.

According to ‘The Phenomenal One’, if it was completely up to him, he would like to fight Triple H.

“Triple H is definitely the next guy I would like to face at some point if it could happen, maybe not.”

Of course, this is not in his immediate list of dream matches. He will want to battle Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship before he moves on to another match or storyline.

He has already confirmed his participation in the 30-man Royal Rumble match. If he wins, he gets a title shot at WrestleMania.

AJ Styles wanted a match against Triple H at WrestleMania

In a previous interview, AJ Styles had said that if he could wrestle anyone at WrestleMania, it would be either Drew McIntyre, Edge, or Triple H.

“If it can’t be Drew McIntyre, give me Edge. If it can’t be Edge, give me Triple H. But, of course, a number of other guys are willing to step up if it can’t be those matches.”

“With Triple H, I feel like I’m putting him in a situation like I did to The Undertaker [before every WrestleMania]. Will he accept? I don’t know.

“With these guys, I’ve always gone, ‘wow, they’re so great. Even while speaking to them, you realize their mindset, the way they approach things are totally different than a lot of other performers. There’s a reason why he’s still doing what he’s doing.”

AJ Styles holds the honour of being The Undertaker’s last opponent. It’s something that no other Superstar can achieve. Therefore, beyond this point, he will only want to extend his record by entering matches with Superstars from other eras.

Much of it depends on whether Triple H will agree to this. However, a match between the two Superstars will be truly phenomenal.
