Io Shirai took a nasty fall from a ladder on a ladder during the ladder match at WWE NXT 2.0. The fall had several around the industry reacting, and one such was Alexa Bliss.

It so happened that during the Halloween Havoc Ladder Match, three teams went up against each other – Io Shirai and Zoey Stark vs. Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta vs. Toxic Attraction.

During that match, Io Shirai was at the top of the ladder when Indi Hartwell pushed the ladder. Shirai dropped on top of another ladder which was kept ringside, neck first.

Not only did it make Alexa Bliss react, so did the fans! The fall took everyone by horror and the fans expressed their concern for Shirai following the match.

After the fight Shirai put up today, she’s proved why she’s one of the top women on the roster.

Even though she lost the WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles, she’s still very much in the competition. In fact, the current champions should really watch out for her!

WWE NXT Results: Toxic Attraction Wins Terrific Scareway to Hell Ladder Match

If nothing else, Shirai and Zoey Stark deserve a rematch for the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles against the current champions – Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.

On the other hand, Shirai may be ready for the main roster. What do you think?

Alexa Bliss is already aiming for the championship

While The Twisted Goddess of WWE has expressed her appreciation for what Shirai did, she herself is aiming for the championship.

Currently, Bliss is working under the red brand, and prior to Crown Jewel 2021, Charlotte Flair was the Raw Women’s Champion. Bliss had a feud with Flair, and The Queen destroyed Bliss’ precious Lilly Doll.

Now, Flair went to SmackDown, and Becky Lynch came to Raw. Therefore, Lynch is the current Raw Women’s Champion. Bliss has already shown her interest in challenging The Man for the title.
