WWE legend Hulk Hogan is a tough guy inside and outside the ring. The legend has battled endless injuries and, moreover, endless surgeries. The WWE legend’s will to face adversity is certainly motivational. Recently, he made a recovery from an excruciating leg surgery. According to an old friend of his, he was not expected to recover.
But ‘The Hulk’ has considered it his duty to prove otherwise on social media and show the world that his friend Kurt Angle was suffering from a mere misunderstanding. Whether the former wrestler is rocking his Ric Flair strut or just calling out a young wrestler casually for a match, all of it is just part of the ‘Hulkamania’. However, there is also a serious side to the fun-loving ‘Hollywood Hogan’ that not all of his fans are aware of.

The wrestling community may not be familiar with Hogan’s personal life, but the Hulkster is a serious father figure to his children. In a talk show with the popular host Jimmy Kimmel back in the year 2006, The Hulk came to sit down and have a chat. The episode also featured his beloved kids sitting in the audience. As soon as a question about his daughter Brooke Hogan was raised, the audience went silent. The reply given by the 69-year-old was even better.

Hulk Hogan explains his overprotectiveness
The wrestler tells how he listens to even the phonic conversations of his daughter to keep her safe. The host then went ahead to ask a straightforward question to ‘Mr. America’, “are you afraid that this is gonna make Brooke even more inclined to do something that you won’t approve of?” To answer efficiently, Hogan appreciates how his kids are mature human beings. Meanwhile, he also compares them with his younger self, “I just think back when I was 16, 17, or 18, all we thought about was the booty call.”
After mentioning how his behavior used to be as a teenage boy, the wrestler continued, “so, I’m very overprotective of Brooke maybe to a fault”. He clarifies that he is afraid of his daughter being around boys who would share a similar mindset to him when he was his daughter’s age. He further added that even though this is a fault, Brooke is cool with this because she understands her father’s being protective of her.
