Hollywood star and WWE Superstar John Cena is one of the greatest pro wrestlers to have ever set foot inside the squared circle. His charisma, wrestling skills, and mic skills all together make him a complete package. His willingness to work hard has taken him to a place that is extremely difficult to reach.

Ever since Cena made his debut for WWE in 2002, he has always been on the good books. Always receiving a push and mainly feuding on the upper card, John Cena is extremely successful. His list of accolades and achievements can testify to that.

Throughout his career in WWE, Cena has had several major rivalries. However, most of those rivalries have been story-line based or kayfabe. Although, recently something popped up, which stated that during his time in WWE, Cena might have felt threatened by certain superstars.

Despite his tall stature and impressive physique, The Champ still felt insecure and threatened by a few superstars on the roster. On an episode of Cafe de Rene episode, Rene Dupree claimed Cena felt threatened by the likes of him, Chris Masters, and Alex Riley. He said, “Very much so. Very much so. Yeah. The American with the Americans with muscular physiques and tall and good looking, yep. 100%.”

This was not the first time such a thing was spoken about Cena. On previous occasions as well, allegations were made against Cena of burying other WWE Superstars and even attempting to fire Randy Orton.

Was Triple H jealous of John Cena during his early years?

John Cena made his debut for WWE in 2002, and soon became the face of the company. His time at the company saw him multiple championships and accolades. He always found himself in the good books of Vince McMahon, and that helped him climb the success ladder more easily.

However, as per Rene Dupree, The Game, Triple H was jealous of John Cena. When Cena made his debut, Triple H was already an established star and was soaring high already. However, Cena’s rise compromised him. Dupree stated in his aforementioned podcast that it was evident that Triple H did not like Cena, and was jealous of him.

The King of Kings faced The Leader of Cenation at WrestleMania 22, where John Cena emerged victorious. Currently, Cena is a part-timer whereas Triple H is the content head of WWE.
