In fact, a similar scenario was witnessed by former NXT champion Karrion Kross, who was once released by the promotion. Reason? Well, budget cuts. Amidst the series of those shocking releases, Karrion Kross recently hinted at his next target on social media. And it was none other than the Leader of the Cenation, John Cena. Now one thing that has made the fans dubious is: Will Kross be the next singles opponent for Cena?

Is Karrion Kross next in line against John Cena?

John Cena’s upcoming in-ring battle is on the horizon. The former WWE champion is currently in a feud with the members of The Bloodline, Jimmy Uso, and Solo Sikoa. However, the deeds of those two stablemates have left the 46-year-old in deep water since he is yet to have a tag team partner after the brutal assault witnessed by AJ Styles at the hands of The Bloodline. While the fans were not able to recover from this news, Karrion Kross’s Instagram Story hinted at a prospective storyline.

As Cena made his way to the ring to open SmackDown, Kross kept an eye on him.
