Kenny Omega was recently put out of business by a serious illness. Due to being diagnosed with diverticulitis, the top AEW star will be out of action indefinitely. Although there are hopes of him coming back to the squared circle, we don’t yet know when exactly he will return. Amidst these circumstances, another top AEW star was found openly discussing his retirement.

The star in question here is Samoa Joe. Even though Joe has been in the business for a good while, fans wouldn’t be ready for the thought of him leaving. Luckily for them, the former WWE wrestler still has a long run ahead of him.

Joe recently showed up in a recent interview and answered many questions asked by the interviewer. While talking to Adrian Hernandez, the AEW star confessed that he doesn’t have a solid plan for his retirement. However, what Joe has, is a vague idea of how his wrestling run would end.
“As far as where the train will end, I’ll let it play out a little bit more. But I will say this, I definitely have more than a handful of good years left in me. Beyond that, I’m excited…if we are gonna out, we’re gonna go out with a bang,” said Samoa Joe in the interview.
