BetOnline, a popular betting platform has placed MJF’s name in the 7th position (+1000) as one of the candidates to win the Royal Rumble 2024. It is surprising considering that MJF is not even signed to WWE while AEW has not given any official statement regarding his contract status.

MJF’s last appearance was during the World’s End PPV on December 30th where he lost his World Title to Samoa Joe, culminating an end to the revelation of The Devil. Since then, he has been written off of TV programming. Though reports confirm that his absence is because of a break taken to heal from multiple injuries, rumors are that MJF has left AEW.

Hence, speculations are that he may have signed with WWE secretly and the presence of his name in the list creates more doubt. But the betting site is no official source to confirm the news and is merely for entertainment. Also, AEW is working on multiple storylines at the moment involving rumors of many of its superstars supposedly leaving AEW. But no official statement has been made on the matter from AEW yet.
